The Challenge
Epic Metals is a manufacturer of steel deck. Its operations, housed in metal buildings, were in need of enhanced energy efficiency, increased lighting effectiveness, and improved overall appearance.
The Solution
Epic Metals retained ICA to install the Energy Miser® Insulation System throughout its facility on both ceilings and walls. The three-phased project entailed installation of more than 64,000 square feet of insulation while maintaining production lines. This required that crews refrain from repositioning equipment or production materials for the duration of the project.
The Result
Epic Metals retained ICA to complete all three phases of its insulation project. The Energy Miser® system resulted in a cleaner, brighter and more energy efficient facility. The lighting was improved, which helped to increase employee productivity, comfort and morale.
