ICA is well versed in the successful use of design-build delivery methods. With the design-build delivery method, owners award a single contract to an architect and contractor team. This team then assumes complete responsibility for designing and constructing the project. Because the architect and contractor are working together under a single contract, the potential for conflict is greatly reduced. Also the ability to overlap the design and construction phases of the project can save both time and money. Additionally, the sooner the project is completed, the sooner it can be occupied and begin generating revenue for owners and value for end-users.
